Surat Al-Qamar -

This is a portion of the entire surah. View more context, or the entire surah.
Muhsin Khan
: Plucking out men as if they were uprooted stems of date-palms.
Muhsin Khan
: Then, how (terrible) was My Torment and My Warnings?
Muhsin Khan
: And We have indeed made the Quran easy to understand and remember, then is there any that will remember (or receive admonition)?
Muhsin Khan
: Thamud (people also) belied the warnings.
Muhsin Khan
: For they said: "A man! Alone from among us, that we are to follow? Truly, then we should be in error and distress or madness!"
Muhsin Khan
: "Is it that the Reminder is sent to him [Prophet Salih (Saleh) ] alone from among us? Nay, he is an insolent liar!"
Muhsin Khan
: Tomorrow they will come to know, who is the liar, the insolent one!
